Welcome
We are a family-run business based in Prince George, British Columbia, proudly serving students from across the north and beyond. Whether you’re from right here in town or traveling in from one of BC’s many smaller communities or farther abroad, you’re welcome in our classroom.
Our family has been involved in firearms safety training for many years. Don has been with the program since its earliest days, starting with Firearms Acquisition Certificates (FACs). Bill began instructing in 2012, bringing his own passion for safe firearms handling and education. Together, we’ve helped hundreds of students earn their Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) and build the foundation for responsible firearms ownership in Canada.
Who we are
We’re long-time residents of Prince George and active members of the outdoor community. As experienced hunters and outdoorsmen, we bring not just technical knowledge, but real-world experience to every course. We believe in safe, responsible, and ethical firearms use—and we’re here to help you do the same.
What is a PAL?
In Canada, a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) is legally required to be in possession of or acquire firearms and ammunition. To get a PAL, you must successfully complete the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) for non-restricted firearms. If you’re interested in restricted firearms, you’ll also need the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC). As certified instructors licensed by the Canadian Firearms Program, we are fully qualified to teach and evaluate both courses.
Please contact us if you are interested in an RPAL course and we will contact you when one is scheduled. View available dates to register for PAL in 2026.
